Desktop beta releases and updates to the VaultDog website.
Desktop · 0.9.1
Choose what opens at login
Turn Open at Login on or off from an app’s passport, its Actions menu, or Startup Monitor.
Use Manage Login Apps to add an installed app. Disabled entries stay available for re-enabling, even after restarting VaultDog.
Changes are checked against macOS and require Automation access to System Events. Turning off a login item does not quit the app; background services and schedules remain separate.
Startup controls now use consistent VaultDog switches, buttons, and dialog styling.

A clearer passport for every app
See access, startup activity, network destinations, and storage together, with focused tabs for the details.
Find apps by name, developer, or bundle ID, and review observed facts with context.
Inspect measured storage across discovered files. Protected or unmeasured folders stay visible, and incomplete totals are clearly marked.
Filter the live network feed by app, destination, country, or network zone, and pause observation while reviewing it.
Turn on optional Privacy controls with macOS approval: allow connections, block internet, block local network, or block both. Add destination rules, temporary rules, and tracker-list protection.
Check current permission grants in macOS Settings. Declared access and signing identity are shown separately from security verdicts.
